1st Decolonising EU Law Conference - Oxford Univeristy

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure to participate in the 1st Decolonising EU Law Conference organised at Oxford University. I presented a paper outlining some introductory elements of my PhD research project, which seeks to adopt a decolonial approach to EU law by centering the perspectives of Black Women.

A big thank you to Professor Iyiola Solanke for the invitation and for convening such a timely and thought-provoking gathering. I couldn't have hoped for a better way to start my PhD Journey!

You can read more on the Conference and the discussions which took place here: https://www.law.ox.ac.uk/content/news/report-1st-conference-decolonising-eu-law

Overall I had a great time in Oxford and hope to be able to come back in the future.
