REMICARD SEREME

PhD Researcher in Law at the European University Institute

I am a socio-legal researcher and project coordinator committed to advancing social and reparative justice through both practice and critical inquiry. In my work, I apply a comparative and intersectional perspective to tackle issues of racial inequality, access to higher education, responsible business practices, and legacies of historical injustices - both in policy and practice. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Law at the European University Institute, where I adopt a decolonial approach to European Union Law to investigate colonial legacies in EU Law through a focus on academic migration from former colonies to EU member States.
